Beau Hunks (1931)-Oliver joins the Foreign Legion to forget an old flame, dragging Stan with him. Ollie finds that every man in the Legion has been dumped by the same woman, but the commanding officer refuses Ollie’s request for a discharge, making the boys hike across the desert to a besieged fort.
Chickens Come Home (1931)-Oliver runs for mayor, but is blackmailed by an nutty old girlfriend who has a compromising photo of the would-be politician.
Going Bye-Bye! (1934)-The boys testify at a trial, sending Butch, a notoriously violent criminal, to jail. They then decide to get out of town, unwittingly taking along Butch’s girl as a travelling companion! What they also don’t know is that Butch has escaped from the cops and is going to hide out at his girlfriend’s apartment!
Berth Marks (1929)-Vaudeville pseudo-stars L&H take a train trip, but mistakenly enter the wrong sleeping compartment, angering a passenger who thinks they are peeping on his wife! This begins a free-for-all on the train, with the boys escaping the melee, but they still have to find a way for both of them to fit into their single upper berth!
